Frank Petrock, Ph.D.
Dr. Frank Petrock has headed up the General Systems Consulting Group and has been in private practice as a consulting organizational psychologist since 1971. His leading and managing change expertise has benefited organizations in North America, Europe and South East Asia for over 35 years. Both productivity and organizational effectiveness are improved through the application of his innovative approaches to personalized coaching, leadership, team and organizational development.
As a psychologist, Frank knows that behavioral science theory is useful only when it is applied. Thus, Frank’s developmental processes focus on application and change. He combines easily understood concepts with sound implementation strategies. Clients get the knowledge, skills and tools with which to improve themselves and their organizations.
In addition to leadership coaching and consulting services, Frank has contributed to numerous management and executive education programs sponsored by companies and universities. These include Motorola's University and Global Leadership Program, Lucent's Manufacturing Leadership Development, Penn State's Executive Education, The Institute for Management Studies, ABB's Quality Institutes in Europe and United States and General Motors' Technical Staff Management Program. Frank also served as a long time faculty member of the University of Michigan's Executive Education Programs.
In line with his extensive executive education experience, Frank established the LEAD Institute's Program for High Potential Managers in 1995 which is offered as both an open enrollment and in-house program. The LEAD Program is designed to assist good managers to become even better leaders, improve the performance of their work units and have a more positive personal impact on others.
